True to its word Huawei’s Honor 9N finally marks its entry in the Indian smartphone market. This is a budget device yet brings a sleek look with all the latest features. It is mostly similar to Honor 9i in terms of specifications. This budget phone will be exclusively available on Flipkart. The sale will officially begin on 31st July.

Speaking of specifications, It flaunts a 5.8-inch LCD display with 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution. Taking its inspiration from the iPhone X, it sports a small notch on the display. The device packs a HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset does the with a 3GB/4GB of RAM. You also get an option to choose between various models of Honor 9N on the basis of internal storage. The base model comes with 32GB of storage, and if you want more space, then you can opt for the 64GB and 128 GB variants. The internal storage is expandable with microSD card slot support. However, this will cost you a replacement of the second SIM card.

Honor 9N is mostly a camera-centric device as it brings a powerful lens set-up. The rear end we get a 13MP primary sensor teaming up with a 2MP depth sensor. The device houses a fingerprint sensor below the camera set-up on the backside. Again on the front face, we have a selfie snapper of 16 MP which sets itself up on the notch.

This handset runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with Huawei’s skin EMUI 8.0. A 3000 mAh battery powers-up this phone. Honor 9N is available in four different color variants. This includes Lavender Purple, Robin Egg Blue, Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black finish.

 

Now let’s check out the price tag of Honor 9N. As we said before, it is a budget smartphone, which will cost around Rs 14,000 in India ($204). This is the base model 4/32 GB combo we are discussing. If you want more storage space, 4/64 GB combination variant will cost you Rs 16,000 ($233). Similarly, the 4/128 GB combination variant will bear a price of Rs 20,000 ($291).
